Our team at Something Very Special believes in the power of dopamine dressing and is here to inject high-quality laidback fun into your wardrobe. We believe that fashion should be a reflection of the vibrant, diverse voices that make up our world, which is why we love to connect with the community and collaborate with amazing artists.

From featuring unique collaborative designs by local creators to hosting events that bring people together, we’re all about celebrating the creativity and spirit of the surrounding community. Every piece we create tells a story and supports the talent that encompasses us.

Founded in December 2021 by longtime contributors to the Australian creative scene, Ainsley Hutchence (founder of Sticks & Stones Agency) and Matty Bouris (head designer of multiple Australian brands), our Something Very Special collections are naturally inspired by Australia’s blend of beachside culture and urban living.

Since launching our first collection, ‘Be Less Shit Please,’ we’ve built a beautiful community who lean on us to provide unique, comfortable pieces in support of their Very Special Moments. We create new collections quarterly, delivered in monthly drops. Our ready-to-wear apparel and accessories are always avant-garde, playful, and fresh.

It’s all pretty simple; we create very special pieces for someone very special (you).
