Returns

ONLINE RETURNS

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you change your mind for any reason, returns must be submitted within 3 days of delivery via our returns portal. Once approved, items must be posted within 14 days of delivery.

Orders placed from 1 June will incur a $10 return shipping fee, which will be deducted from your refund or store credit when lodging a return.

All returned items must be unworn, unused and in original condition with all tags and packaging intact. Items must be free of makeup, fake tan, fragrance, deodorant marks and pet hair.

Refunds are eligible on full priced styles only. Full price items can be returned for a refund, store credit or size exchange.

Sale items are not eligible for a refund. Discounted or marked down styles can be returned for an exchange or store credit only.

Final sale items are not eligible for return, exchange or store credit.

Promotional periods (including EOFY sales, flash sales and sitewide discounts) are considered final sale. Items purchased during these periods are not eligible for refund, exchange or store credit. Please choose carefully.

For hygiene reasons, swimwear bottoms, jewellery and headwear are not eligible for return.

Mystery boxes are final sale. While we'll do our best to curate pieces you'll love based on your selected size, comments and preferred fit, individual styles and colours are chosen at random. No exchanges or returns on Mystery Box purchases.

If your return does not comply with these conditions, your item/s will not be accepted and will be returned to you at your cost.

Many of our garments are hand-dyed, printed, embroidered or produced in small batches. Colour, wash and print placement may vary between pieces, sizes and production runs. These variations are not considered faults.

Something Very Special reserves the right to refuse returns that do not meet our policy requirements or are returned outside of the specified timeframes.

Nothing in this policy excludes your rights under Australian Consumer Law.


INTERNATIONAL RETURNS

Return shipping fees apply and vary by country. The applicable fee will be shown when lodging your return.

Unless otherwise stated, return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

Duties and taxes are non-refundable. For orders where duties and taxes are paid at checkout, these amounts will be deducted from your return.


IN-STORE RETURNS

In-store purchases can only be returned in store within 7 days of purchase with proof of receipt.

Garments must be returned in their original condition with swing tags attached and must be unworn, unaltered and unwashed.

No refunds will be issued for change of mind unless required by law.

In-store credit notes are valid in-store only and cannot be used online.


FAULTY OR INCORRECT ITEMS

Something Very Special aims to provide products of the highest standard. If you receive a faulty item or an incorrect item, please contact our customer service team within 48 hours of receiving your order at shop@somethingveryspecial.co.

Please include your proof of purchase, a description of the issue, and clear images of the item including full front, full back and details of the fault so we can assess and resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

Items are considered faulty if they are received damaged or if a manufacturing fault occurs. Items damaged through general wear and tear or incorrect garment care are not considered faulty.
