Thank you for shopping with us! Something Very Special will happily process a return within 14 days of receiving your order, provided the item is unworn, in its original packaging, and has all tags attached.
To start a return, please CLICK HERE and provide your order number and reason for return. Items sent back without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
1. Full-priced items are eligible for a refund or 110% store credit.
If you choose store credit instead of a refund, we’ll top it up by an extra 10% as a little thank you from us. You’ll get 110% of your original purchase value to spend on anything you love, it’s our way of saying thanks for choosing to shop with us again.
2. Full-priced items purchased during a promotional event (e.g. BLACK FRIDAY, EOFY) are eligible for store credit only.
3. Sale items are final sale and not eligible for return, store credit, exchange, or refund.
Please note: Swimwear bottoms, undergarments, jewellery, and caps are not eligible for return due to hygiene reasons.

DAMAGED OR INCORRECT ITEMS
Please inspect your order upon delivery and contact us immediately if an item is defective, damaged, or if you’ve received the wrong item, so we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
We will open an investigation into any claimed faulty items before processing a return. If your items are deemed not faulty, the return will not be accepted.
TERMS & CONDITIONS
- Returns will not be accepted outside of the 14-day return window or for items that are not returned in original condition.
- If returned products show signs of wear, damage, or alteration, the return will be declined, and you will be invoiced for return shipping to have the items sent back to you.
- Shipping costs incurred by the customer are non-refundable.
- Store credits are non-refundable and non-transferable.
- Due to high demand, we cannot offer direct exchanges. Please return your item for a refund or store credit and place a new order.
Should we identify unreasonable return patterns (such as returns for content creation or professional use), we reserve the right to refuse or restrict future orders.
For customers in New Zealand, please use a trackable and insured postal service and package items securely, as we cannot take responsibility for items lost or damaged in transit.
EXCEPTIONS / NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS
Certain types of items cannot be returned, including custom-made products, personal care items, hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please contact us before returning if you’re unsure about your item’s eligibility.
EUROPEAN UNION 14-DAY COOLING-OFF PERIOD
If your order was shipped to the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without justification. Items must be returned in original condition, unworn and unused, with tags attached and proof of purchase included.
REFUNDS
Once we receive and inspect your return, we’ll notify you of approval or rejection. If approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method within 10 business days. Please note that your bank or credit card provider may take additional time to process and post the refund.
